LLC “CHR Design Solutions”, commissioned by the Housing and Environment Department of the Riga City Municipality, is carrying out the design of the riverbank stabilization and repair project for the City Canal. The project covers the section from Kronvalda Park to the 13. January Street overpass, where increased bank erosion has previously been observed.
Under the terms of the signed contract, the CHR Design Solutions team is responsible for the full range of design works – from topographic surveying and geotechnical investigations to the preparation of the design project and its approval by the Riga City Development Department, as well as providing site supervision during the construction phase.
The implementation of this project represents an important step in improving the urban environment and protecting riverside infrastructure, ensuring both safety and an aesthetically pleasing environment for Riga’s residents and visitors.
