Liepaja Port’s Piers No. 92A and No. 92B – Construction Design

CHR has signed a contract as the lead designer for the “Construction of Liepaja Port’s Piers No. 92A and No. 92B” project. Over the next eight months, our team will develop design in minimum composition and detailed design to ensure the implementation of the construction phase.

CHR is responsible for the complete design process, which includes:

• Development of a topographic plan;

• Geotechnical investigations;

• Hydrometeorological studies;

• Detailed technical inspection of the piers, including underwater sections;

• Restoration of the structural reinforcement of the shoreline and construction of a two-level pier, including connections to adjacent piers;

• Reconstruction of the structural elements of the piers’ superstructure and underwater parts;

• Reconstruction of the piers’ surfaces;

• Reconstruction of the electrical supply system for ships;

• Installation of ship fender systems;

• Planning of ship mooring schemes and positioning of mooring bollards;

• Installation of pier lighting.
