Liepaja Port’s Pier No. 82 – Construction design

CHR has signed a contract as the lead designer for the “Construction of Liepāja Port’s Pier No. 82” project. Over the next eight months, our team will develop design in minimum composition and detailed design to ensure the implementation of the construction phase.

CHR is responsible for the complete design process, which includes:

• Reconstruction of the structural elements of the pier’s superstructure and underwater parts;

• Reconstruction of the pier’s surface;

• Reconstruction of the electrical supply system for ships;

• Installation of ship fender systems;

• Docking and mooring locations for small vessels and pontoons along the vertical wall of the pier;

• Lighting installation for the piers;

• Landscaping of the pier’s area (greening);

• Planning of ship mooring schemes and positioning of mooring bollards;

• Construction of a rainwater drainage system.
