SIA “CHR Design Solutions” is participating in the implementation of the Rail Baltica Global Project, specifically within the scope of the project “Electrification of the Railway Line from Tallinn (Estonia) to the Poland–Lithuania Border, Crossing Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.”
SIA “CHR Design Solutions” has signed a contract with UAB TEC Consulting, under which the company is responsible for executing part of the design works for the Rail Baltica Energy Subsystem.
Rail Baltica is a global-scale project, representing a major European rail transport infrastructure initiative aimed at integrating the Baltic States into a unified European rail network.
The Global Project is a joint initiative of three European Union Member States – Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania – and involves the construction of a high-speed, conventional double-track railway of 1435 mm gauge, electrified and equipped with ERTMS, with a total length of approximately 890 km. The route runs from Tallinn through Pärnu (Estonia), Riga (Latvia), Panevėžys (Lithuania), and Kaunas (Lithuania) to the Lithuania–Poland border, including a branch line from Kaunas to Vilnius, with a planned operating speed of up to 249 km/h.
SIA “CHR Design Solutions” participation in this project demonstrates the company’s expertise in complex international infrastructure project design and its ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in compliance with European Union standards.
