On the commission of SIA “Rīgas ūdens,” SIA “CHR Design Solutions” developed the construction design for the removal of sedimentation in the Olektes Riverbed.
The Olektes River, over two kilometers in length, flows through several areas of Ķekava Municipality, including Katlakalns, Mākoņkalns, Rudzāji, and Rāmava, before entering the Daugava River near Krūmiņsala within the territory of Riga City.
As a result of the contract execution, a construction design was prepared, providing for the cleaning of the Olektes Riverbed from sedimentation in stages 3 and 4 (from the V2 road to the pedestrian bridge across the Olektes River), as well as the reclamation and arrangement of areas where sediments will be deposited or that will be affected during construction works.
